Fields treated only with organic fertilizer (manure, slurry, digestate, lime) and NO chemical fertilizer or herbicides receive BIO certification. Bio-certified crops sell at significantly higher prices and supply bio products throughout the entire chain.
✨ **At game start, about 40% of all fields are automatically bio-certified** — so you can start bio farming right away without having to convert everything first!

Using bio fertilizers on your fields gives you additional yield bonuses:
- Bio Slurry (from bio animals): +6% yield
- Bio Manure (from bio animals): +9% yield
- Bio Digestate / Bio Jauche (from bio plant): +12% yield
The bonuses stack with bio status — so Bio field + Bio Digestate = more yield AND higher selling price.
